GRATIA around, rev arms of London supported by sword and mace, rays of the sun above, VISITED ST PAULS 23 APRIL 1789, the rays extend over the legend and the date below the exergue is on one line, edge plain (Conder p.75, 58; Atkins p.80, 103; D&H Middlesex 177). Bronzed-copper good extremely fine, the white metal with minor blemishes, otherwise good extremely fine and retaining much brilliance. (2)
