BRITISH 18TH CENTURY TOKENS, SCOTLAND, Smith & Wilson, Colin Smith (d. >1813), and Patrick Wilson (d. 1824) partners in a flax spinning mill, Copper Halfpenny, 1801, obv a church, CHURCH, rev a building with a water wheel, EAST MILL above, BRECHIN 1801 below, edge plain (D&H Angusshire 7a). Small spot of verdigris on the obverse, otherwise better than extremely fine and with a fair amount of faded colour remaining, very rare.
