BRITISH 18TH CENTURY TOKENS, IRELAND, Hibernian Mine Company, Copper Halfpenny, 1793, obv seated crowned figure of Hibernia right, PAYABLE AT DUBLIN OR BALLYMURTAGH, harp with six strings, point of still to lower right serif of L of PAYABLE, B of PAYABLE recut to top, M of BALLYMURTAGH recut, rev cypher H M C with flourishes, CAMAC KYAN AND CAMAC with ONE . HALFPENNY in arc below cypher, MOSSOP . F below, KY of KYAN touch, MOSSOP . F faint, edge plain (Atkins p.338, 89; D&H Dublin 249). Very fine and rare.
