BRITISH 18TH CENTURY TOKENS, IRELAND, Uncertain Issuer, Imitation Copper Halfpenny, 1792, obv seated figure of Hibernia left, INCORPORATED BY ACT OF PARLIAMENT . 1792, harp with eight strings, top of head under first diagonal stroke of A of ACT, stop after PARLIAMENT, harp strings very thin and widely spaced, rev H M Co. cypher, CAMAC KYAN AND CAMAC HALFPENNY, loop of cypher C to second diagonal stroke of first A of second CAMAC, top of cypher C points to middle of D of AND, edge plain (Atkins p.334, 27c; D&H Dublin 91c). Struck from a late state of the obverse die on a small flan, very fine for issue.
