BRITISH 18TH CENTURY TOKENS, IRELAND, Uncertain Issuer, Imitation Copper Halfpenny, 1794, obv seated figure of Hibernia left, INCORPORATED BY ACT OF PARLIAMENT 1794, harp with nine strings, top of head between Y of BY and A of ACT, rev H M Co. cypher, CAMAC KYAN AND CAMAC . HALFPENNY, loop of cypher C to centre of M of second CAMAC, top of cypher C points to right of D of AND, edge PAYABLE IN DUBLIN CORK AND BELFAST (D&H Dublin 217, this token illustrated). Better than very fine for issue, a bit of red casting wax adhering, exceptionally rare.
