Potosi, Bolivia, cob 8 reales, (16)52E transitional Type VII, ex-Mastalir collection. S-P37; KM-A20.7; CT-unl. 20.03 grams. Nice full pillars detail, the shield nearly full but flat, not overly corroded but somewhat bent and with approximate 20% piece of edge missing, small edge-split, good toning. Pedigreed to the Roberto Mastalir collection, #VII.1-A.da(1)3 in his book (page 163), with Herman Moro photo-certificate #AW3. Recovered from: Capitana, sunk in 1654 off Chanduy, Ecuador ($125-200)
