Neatly formed silver ingot, 1061 grams, about 98.5% fine, no stamps visible, from the Bredenhof (1753). 5-1/2" x 1-1/2" x 1". Nearly half of an ingot of typical VOC shape, with one side nearly intact but the other eroded away by as much as 1/2", darkly toned. From the Bredenhof (1753), with original (generic) certificate from the salvagers. ($800-1200)
