Potosi, Bolivia, cob 8 reales, 1677E. S-P37b; KM-26; CT-352. 25.97 grams. Solid flan with minimal surface corrosion, nearly full pillars (nice crown above) and cross, bold date and two assayers, lightly toned, hairline edge-split. Pedigreed to the Charles Eidel collection, with original (generic) certificate from the salvagers. Recovered from: Association, sunk in 1707 off the Isles of Scilly, southwest of England ($200-300)
