Swedish copper "plate money" 1/2 daler, Fredrik I, 1741. KM-PM65. 299 grams, 3-1/2" x 3-1/2". Solid and intact except for two corners (one half gone and the other missing a small piece), but all stamps bold and clear, minor pitting but otherwise nice surfaces with some original copper color exposed. Recovered from: Nicobar, sunk in 1783 off South Africa ($350-500)
