Potosi, Bolivia, cob 8 reales, 1652E post-transitional (transitional Type VIII/B), 1-PH-6 at top, with unidentified countermark "8" on each side. S-P37a; KM-21; CT-434. 23.73 grams. Pedigreed to the Roberto Mastalir collection, #VIII.a-B.aa.x(ND)2 in his book (page 212), and pedigreed to the Cayon auction of June 2010 (lot #5196). ($350-500)
