[KE RO] – HΘE / IC - XC Christ seated facing on backless throne, nimbate, wearing pallium and colobium, raising his right hand in benediction and holding Book of Gospels in his left. Rev. AΛεZIωC ΔεCΠ KωNTANT Alexius III, on left, wearing crown, divitision and loros, and St. Constantine, on right, in similar attire, both standing facing, each holding a cruciform scepter and together supporting labarum between them. DOC 2d.2. SB 2009. An attractive example. Struck on a somewhat irregular flan, otherwise, good very fine.
