Bruttium, Kroton AR Diobol. Circa 530-500 BC. Tripod, with legs terminating in lion's paws, and with ornaments on and serpents rising from the bowl; retrograde QPO upwards to left / Incuse tripod. Unpublished in the standard references, cf. HN Italy 2077 (tetrobol). 1.22g, 19mm, 12h.

Very Fine. Fragile: flan substantially cracked, edges chipped. Toned. Extremely rare, possibly unique.
