China People's Republic 10000 Yuan 1951 Pick 858a. An absolute rarity of a design that exhibits full colors and stainless paper which makes it appear as a Gem example though the holder. These were among the last notes issued in the First Series of the RMB, with this design issued specifically for the frontier region of Xinjiang. These remote areas already had circulating coins and cash (produced locally), and thus a small amount of these RMB notes were printed and released there. An outstanding note for any collection.
