Ghassân is also cited on copper coins from numerous mints in Khorasan and Central Asia dated AH204-205, and al-Layth is probably the same local governor in Sijistan cited on the countermarked Eastern Sistan type (type A-B90), possibly the father of Ya'qub, founder of the Saffarid dynasty.
