This denomination was evidently one half of the post-reform radiate and surviving radiate, pre-reform antoniniani. The most likely denomination, then, is the denarius communis, two of which would have been the value of an "ant".This type was issued in the mid 290's at Trier, Ticinum and Rome - a group of five or so types of votas of the same denomination was issued ca. 303/4The same group of Utilitas Publica and 5 various votas were also issued at the same time in the names of Maximian, Constantius I and Galerius, Caesars
