Constantius II. AD 337-361. AV Solidus (21mm, 4.34 g, 1h). Tricennalia issue. Nicomedia mint, 4th officina. Struck AD 351-355. Pearl-diademed, helmeted, and cuirassed bust facing slightly right, holding in irght hand spear over shoulder and shield decorated with horseman motif in left / Roma seated facing, holding spear in left hand, and Constantinopolis seated left, holding scepter in left hand and resting foot on prow, supporting between them a shield inscribed VOT/XXX/MVLT/XXXX in four lines; SMNC. RIC VIII 74; Depeyrot 5/2. Good VF, smoothing on face, a couple light scratches on obverse.
