REX•, around / Square topped garnished shield over cross fourchee; CHRI | STO AV | SPICE | REGNO around. S. 2753. N. 2190. As SCBI Brooker 236. As Cooper Lot 48 (this piece better than either of the preceding; also better than van Roekel). FRC II*/VII. Very Fine; attractively toned; edge striking crack at 11; pleasing metal surfaces.
