Crown Charles I Group II, Second Horseman , type 2a, Smaller horse, with plume on head only, cross on housing, S.2755, North 2193 mintmark Harp, the harp on the obverse overstruck GVF, full and round, with a pleasing even strike, a most pleasing piece and very desirable in this grade, we note the Slaney example of this type, in slightly higher grade and with inferior surfaces, realised £8000 hammer price in May 2015
