CARIAN ISLANDS. Rhodes. Ca. 408/7-404 BC. AR tetradrachm (22mm, 15.19 gm, 12h). NGC AU 4/5 - 3/5. Head of Helios facing slightly right, hair parted in middle and swept back to either side / ΡOΔION, rose flower on short stem, no buds, small pecten (scallop shell) to lower left, all within incuse square. Ashton 3. Bérend, SNR 51, 4 (this reverse die). Extremely rare. An unusual and stylish head of Helios with a long, angular face.
