Pedro II Lot of Two Masonic Abolitionist Medals in Silver and Bronze 1871, Fonrobert-8750, VC-60. A lot of two medals, one in silver (AU/UNC) and one in bronze (AU), that presents the Vicecount of Rio Branco, also known as the Grandmaster of the Masonic Lodge of Lauridio, who was instrumental in the passing of laws which would lead to the Abolition of Slavery in Brazil. Both medals are fully engaging and the reverse scene is wonderfully pictorial. Rare.
