Vittorio Emanuele III gold 100 Lire 1936-R Anno XIV MS63 NGC, Rome mint, KM83, Fr-35. Obv. Head of Vittorio Emanuele III right. Rev. Male figure striding left, holding fasces. Struck following the conquest of Ethiopia and highlighting the burgeoning influence of Italy prior to World War I. Glowing orange-golden patina, with near-pristine surfaces and a bold strike. Nicer than one might expect of this grade. Quite rare, with a small mintage of 812 pieces.
