Republic Cap & Rays 8 Reales 1860 Oa-AE MS62 NGC, Oaxaca mint, KM377.11, DP-Oa03, A in O of mintmark. Noted in DP as, "Very rare... virtually unobtainable in high grade." Eagle style of 1859-1860. Highly lustrous, with some central softness, as normal for the issue, but much more sharply struck than most of the few seen of this variety. Minor flan flaws are noted on the obverse. Only one piece has been certified finer by NGC, and PCGS combined. A very rare issue, in exceptional condition.
