A dual commemorative, struck to honor influential revolutionary leader Venustiano Carranza and first President under the 1917 Constitution, as well as celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Plan de Guadalupe, a political scheme devised by Carranza in 1913 to oust Victoriano Huerta from power. A wonderful presentation, struck in high relief, with thick frost on the central designs and prooflike surround surfaces.
