Nicholas II gold 10 Roubles 1904-AP MS63 Prooflike NGC, St. Petersburg mint, Bitkin-12, Fr-179. Obv. Portrait of Nicholas II left. Rev. Crowned double-headed eagle, holding orb and scepter, with date and value below. A truly amazing Mint State example. The fields are fully mirror-like, with boldly struck devices and some cameo contrast. Very rare as a Prooflike striking, and the only date of this series that has been certified as PL, with only one example finer than this pleasing piece.
