Australia, WWI trench art bracelet centre piece in form of a cut-out map of Australia made of brass (41x31mm) with a slot at sides for securing to a wrist strap, map inscribed, '511/Sgt S.A.Kohn/22nd Btn/A.I.F.'; also a pair of fibre compound dog tags for '511/S A Kohn/CE/22 AIF'. Fine - very fine. (3) Provenance - Sydney Alfred Kohn, commercial traveller, age 19, born at Summer Hill, NSW; Enl.07Apr1915 at Melbourne, Vic, previous service of 18 months with Senior Cadets; Emb.08May1915 to Gallipoli; service record stamped, 'took part in raid on enemy's trenches on night 29-30 June 1916'; WIA 27Jul1916 in France; T/Cpl 21Dec1916; Cpl 21Mar1917; Sgt 28Nov1917; RTA 08Apr1919; Disch.18Aug1919.
