China, Chou Dynasty, Spring-Autumn period, (700-476 B.C.), pointed tip curved knife money, issued 600-400 B.C., obverse Liu (six), (17.33, 17.46 g), length 153mm, (Hartill 4.16, Sch.62), another similar types with encrustation and a Chinese Character, (17.27 g). Light dirt and green oxidation on surface, otherwise fine and very scarce. (3) Provenance - Ex Patrick J.
