Gold Dollars
1857-C G$1 VF30 PCGS. Variety 1. A radiant orange-gold example. Glimpses of luster remain, and the sole mentionable mark is a hair-thin line above Liberty's mouth. Only a single die marriage is known, featuring a downward-slanted date. A mere 13,280 pieces were struck for the penultimate Charlotte gold dollar issue. Encapsulated in an old green-label holder.
