1906-S $10 MS63 NGC. Although the mintage of the 1906-S implies common-date status, third party census data conflicts with that assessment. Most certified examples are in AU55 to MS62 grades, and Select pieces are surprisingly rare. This lustrous and crisply struck Liberty ten shows a smattering of minor marks, none distracting. Census: 10 in 63, 9 finer (2/17).
