Cuba Banco Nacional de Cuba 1 Peso ND (1905) Pick 65. An outstanding example from the Banco Nacional's first series. Perforated cancels are seen on this example, which was prepared, but eventually not released. As the Peso was pegged to the US Dollar at the time, most cash in circulation were dollars, which then became Republica de Cuba silver certificates. Like the entire series, an English title of the bank is also seen, as large amounts of investments into Cuba at that time came from the United States.
