Germany - Contemporary Album Labeled as "Notgeld" - Part I. The Notgeld in this oversize album is not graded, but the examples appear to be in the usual condition for this class of paper money. We also see Austrian Notgeld and in the back are several notes issued by the Weimar Republic. The covers of the album are intact, but the inside pages are loose. The merchant selling this album was J. Lieban, headquartered in The Hague. His imprint is on the back of the frontispiece and an unused return post card for J. Lieban plus a business card for Mr. Lieban are included. A previous owner has pencilled "737 pieces" on the first page. Our count is a little more, but we will go with "737."
