Portugal Banco de Portugal 1000 Escudos 10.7.1920 Pick 125 Counterfeit. An interesting counterfeit, contemporary to the period of issue, this note was not particularly well executed, missing any attempt at a watermark, and with a miserably done portrait. This note probably did not fool many people, if it, in fact, ever was passed. Extremely Fine with telltale signs of light handling and a center fold.
