Lot of two small artifacts from an unidentified mid-1600s English Channel wreck: 1 wood-and-brass lifting block (pulley/hook) and 1 lead sounding weight. Pulley= 255 grams, 5" long; sounding weight = 336 grams, 2-1/2" tall. Darkly colored, conserved, intact brass pulley (with some soft wood still attached) is easily recognizable, sounding weight is intact and has typical hole through the top.
