Anonymous, c. 225-214/212 BC. Quadrigatus (Silver, 19mm, 6.80 g 2), Rome. Laureate janiform head of the Dioscouri. Rev. Jupiter, holding scepter and thunderbolt, standing right in a quadriga, driven to right by Victory who stands beside him; below, rectangular frame bearing ROMA in relief letters. Crawford 29/3. Sydenham 64. Attractively toned and well struck. Extremely fine.
