MYAUNGMYO: Anonymous, dating unknown, AR 80 ratti (8.11g), Mitch-2000:149/50, Mahlo-3, recumbent humped bull right // Kailasha vase of plenty (purnaghata), on a lotus, chipped, VF, RRR, ex Hans Mondorf Collection. Mahlo reported that about 7 specimens were found in about 4 different sites in southern Myanmar. He has suggested that this is one of the earliest types, circa 2nd-3rd century AD, prior to all issues bearing the srivatsa on the reverse, which seems highly unlikely. Mitchiner placed it almost a millenium later, also unlikely. By comparison with other coins of the Burmese Kingdoms, some point between the 5th and 8th century seems more credible.
