Pergamum under the Romans. Cistophoric tetradrachm circa 133-67, AR 12.60 g. Serpents emerging from cista mistica; all within wreath. Rev. Two serpents coiled around the staff of a legionary eagle; in l. field, monogram of Pergamum, above, AM and Asclepius' staff. SNG France 1725.
