British Coins, Richard II (1377-1399), noble, type IB? with French titles, London mint, king with sword and shield stg. facing in ship, mark over sail and on rudder unclear, ropes 3/1, quatrefoils 5/4, rev. ornate cross, R in centre, 90°, 7.60gms. (S.1654; N.1302), some weakness in lettering and has been made round, possibly lightly clipped and minor filing on edge at 7 o'clock on reverse, some small spots of verdigris on reverse, otherwise very fine (2500 - 3000 GBP)
