Laureate head of Apollo right; sandal behind / Thalia, the Muse of comedy, standing left, holding comic mask and crook, leaning arm on column. Crawford 410/9a; Sydenham 822; Pomponia 21. VF, toned, porous, numerous scratches. Rare variety with Thalia also holding a crook.
