1870 1C MS65 Red PCGS. Snow-16, Repunched Date, Doubled Die Reverse. The 18 in the date are repunched, and the N in ONE and E in CENT show die doubling on their left uprights. This variety is known for a heavy die crack at the lower-left reverse, although said crack is just beginning on this strike. The coin shows sharp detail and frosty copper-orange luster with a few small specks behind Liberty's head. Population: 39 in 65 (3 in 65+) Red, 7 finer (4/17).
