1860 1C PR65 PCGS. The reported mintage for the 1860 Indian Head cent proof stands at 1,000 specimens. However, the Mint introduced a proofing fee of 13 cents that year, and many sets went unsold. Each side of this bronze and amber-gold Gem is beautifully preserved without mentionable contact. Fully impressed, as expected. Housed in a first generation holder. Population: 40 in 65, 15 finer (4/17).
