1971 1C Doubled Die Obverse, FS-101, MS65+ Red PCGS. LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST, and the date show obvious die doubling on this conditionally scarce Guide Book variety. This high-end Gem Red coin displays satiny luster and bold design definition with faint die striations in the fields. The obverse is struck minutely off-center toward 10 o'clock, with a very thin rim along the side. Population: 30 in 65 (1 in 65+) Red, 10 finer (4/17).
