1867 2C PR67 Red and Brown NGC. Aside from the full impression and broad, squared-off rims, diagnostics for the 1867 two cent proof include the date closer to the ball than the border, and the left base of the 1 over the center of a dentil. The estimated mintage is 625+ specimens, and this is the single finest Red and Brown survivor among them. Daubs of cherry-red accent amber-gold color. Essentially void of contact. Census: 1 in 67 Red and Brown, 0 finer (4/17).
