Buffalo Nickels
1919-D 5C MS64+ PCGS. The population of 1919-D nickels drops markedly from MS64 to MS65. This Plus-designated Choice Uncirculated example straddles the line between those two grades and enjoys marvelous aesthetic quality. Blue, gold, and lavender shadings drape each side with satiny luster underneath. Detail is lacking somewhat on the bison's head and tail but is good elsewhere. The obverse exhibits numerous spindly cracks. Struck from slightly rotated dies.
