This popular and collectible Guide Book variety features star 1 far from the bust and lacks a period after C in the denomination. The obverse is in an early state, and the first A in AMERICA is filled. This lightly toned Select quarter retains much original brilliance and good strike detail. Struck from severely rotated dies, as usual. Population (all varieties): 27 in 63, 53 finer (4/17).
