1793 1C Wreath, Vine and Bars Edge, S-10, B-10, R.4, XF40 PCGS. Housed in a green-label PCGS holder that is incorrectly labeled Lettered Edge, this Wreath cent deserves close inspection for its pleasing olive and chestnut-brown surfaces. A few scrapes and other surface anomalies are evident on each side. A small rim bump is visible outside the U in UNITED, and the narrow rim break over NITE is evident on this piece. The obverse beading is complete at the die flaw at 2:30. Despite a few minor challenges, this is an exceptional example of the Wreath cent design for a specialized large cent aficionado or a type collector. Our EAC grade VF25.
