1908-S 50C MS65 PCGS. CAC. An underrated issue in the Barber half dollar series, the 1908-S is seldom seen in Gem condition, much less in finer grades. The surfaces on this Gem are mostly silver-white in the centers, ceding to a melange of russet and lilac near the rims. The strike is sharp, just missing fully struck status. Population: 10 in 65, 7 finer. CAC: 3 in 65, 4 finer (4/17).
