The 1880-CC Morgan dollar claims a small net mintage of 495,000 pieces, after a number of coins were found to be outside acceptable weight and fineness limits and melted for recoinage. This spectacular Premium Gem exhibits well-detailed design elements, with just a touch of blending on the strands of hair above Liberty's ear. The well-preserved surfaces are hazily reflective and lightly toned, creating bold contrast with the frosty devices. Population: 13 in 66 (1 in 66+) Prooflike, 2 finer (4/17).
