Saint-Gaudens Double Eagles
1924-D $20 MS63 PCGS. Decades ago, the 1924-D was a premiere rarity in the Saint-Gaudens double eagle series, but a number of coins surfaced in European sources over the years to augment the supply available to U.S. collectors. The 1924-D is still a scarce issue in high grade, however. This attractive Select specimen exhibits well-detailed design elements and lightly marked, lustrous orange-gold surfaces.
