1808 50C O-106a, R.2, AU55 PCGS. Stars 5 and 6 are closer than stars 6 and 7, the 1 is higher than 808, and the arrowheads touch. A die crack spans the obverse from the left of 1 in the date to form a semi-circle across the bust and through the hairline, emerging from the cap to the milling. Electric-blue, lavender, and orange shades gravitate to the margins of this sharply struck piece that retains considerable golden luster and offers fantastic overall eye appeal at the Choice About Uncirculated level.
