1912 50C PR66 PCGS. CAC. This delightful Premium Gem proof has deeply mirrored fields surrounding fully lustrous and frosty devices, creating excellent contrast. Both sides exhibit kaleidoscopic iridescence in multicolor shades plus a few cloudy overtones. The design elements are sharply impressed, with only a touch of blending below the eagle's right (facing) shoulder. A CAC-endorsed proof, one of the few so-honored at the PR66 level. Population: 20 in 66, 11 finer. CAC: 2 in 66, 5 finer (4/17).
