Liberty Quarter Eagles
1845 $2 1/2 MS62 PCGS. The top of the 1 lightly touches the bust and a die crack connects stars 3 through 6. The reverse has heavy radial die cracks from the border through the N in UNITED to a leaf, the primary 2 in the denomination to the eagle's middle claw, and the period following the denomination to the tip of the branch stem. Other reverse cracks are also evident. This attractive Mint State example exhibits light greenish-gold surfaces with trivial marks that are consistent with the grade.
